The Westbury Poker League has run in various locations and formats for over 15 years.
Originally formed at the Leighton Sport Bar in 2007, the league has also had stays in the Angel Pub, Suave Wine Bar and now features in the Aces-Cracked Poker room.
The league was formed to offer it's members the opportunity to play in some of the UK's premier poker competitions and tours and in the past has sent players to play in the Great British Poker Tour (GBPT) and the PokerStars European Poker Toker (EPT) plus a number of other high profile poker competitions.
League games are currently played every Monday night with registration opening at 7:00pm and closing at 7:20pm, shuffle up and deal at 7:30. The buy-in is currently £25 + £5 and includes the Royal Flush Bonus Pot and weekly league fees. League games are played on a 15-minute clock with a starting stack of 20K.
Each league season runs from January to December with the league champion crowned at our end of season Christmas Deep-stack Final.
The Christmas game takes place on the last Sunday before Christmas with play getting underway at 1:30pm. The clock is 30 minutes and a starting stack of 50K.
