Frome Poker Group

Founded in 2010, the Frome Poker Group have met regularly for almost 15 years.

Initially meeting in the White Hart at Trudox Hill, the group has grown steadily moving initially to Frome Town Football Club and now hosting their games in the Aces-Cracked Poker Room.

The group holds a league game once a month along with a range of other tournaments throughout the year including Charity Games, a bumper Christmas Game and the annual FPG League Grand Final.

Frome Poker Group hold 12 league games each season with seasons running from January to December.  Games are held on a Friday night with one game played in each calendar month,  Players earn league points based on their finishing position and the number of entrants in each game

At the end of each year each a player's final league position is determined by the total number of points they earned from their best 10 league game finishes over the season.

At the end of each year, players who finish in the top 60 places in the league are invited to take part in the Grand Final.

Played as a one day freeze-out tournament, the Grand Final gives the top 60 players the opportunity to be crowned the FPG Grand Champion and get their name added to the coveted FPG Cup.
